Emeril's New Orleans Fish House Broiled Oysters Recipe

Broiled Oyster Ingredients:

• Oysters

• Butter

• Garlic, chopped - .25 c

• Crystal hot sauce - 1 T

• Worcestershire - .5 t

• Smoked paprika - 1 T

• Parsley, chopped - 1 c

• Horseradish - .5 T

• Lemon zest - .5 T

• Salt - .5 T

• Black pepper - .5 T

 

Broiled Oyster Directions:

1. Heat garlic, hot sauce, Worcestershire and the paprika in half the butter until it starts to separate.

2. Take off the heat and add the rest of the ingredients and the rest of the butter and stir until well mixed.

3. Shuck the oysters, place about a tablespoon of the butter on the oyster and bake until cooked through.

4. Garnish with toasted bread.
